A - Comes to me with a chestnut color with amber and ruby tints. There is a one finger off white head that leaves considerable lacing.

S - Not much going on here. From what I do smell, there are some roasted malts, but they are very faint.

T - These flavors could all be more pronounced. There are some roasted malts with brown sugar, clove and allspice. There is also a sweet, soapy flavor that doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't add to the beer in any way positive. There is a slightly bitter hop taste to finish this one off.

M - There is too much carbonation that spreads this beer out too thin and does not allow the flavors to be pronounced.

D - It's not a bad beer but it's nothing special. It has room for improvement and one was plenty.

Saw on their twitter page they were throwing this on tap this week. Stopped in on Thursday as I always do to give it a whirl. Poured from the tap into a pint glass.

Appearance: A real nice brown/auburn color, very clear. Beautiful 2 finger, off-white head that hangs around for a while. Terrific lacing leaves rings down the glass as the beer disappears into my belly.

Smell: Malty. Bready and biscuit malts. Just a mild hop aroma indicates there might be some balance to this one. Sweet smelling.

Taste: Bready and biscuit malts. A little sweet on the tongue. Slight toasted malt flavor towards the middle. Mild hop bitterness in the finish. Hints of fruitiness in there as well but mostly masked by the malts. Pretty interesting.

Mouthfeel: Very smooth and crisp. Medium carbonation. Bready flavors linger in your mouth. Medium-full bodied.

Drinkability: On an empty stomach, pretty high. I think I had 4 of these over the course of a few hours. Has a pretty sessionable ABV but the body on this one makes it pretty filling

First time I've seen this at Rock and it's a pretty solid beer. Good to see some nice malty offerings to complement their terrific IPA's.
