Aged for six months in American white oak barrels. Not sure of the base beer here, but judging from the nose I'm guessing it might be the Hop Bomb. Pours a somewhat hazy medium brown color, with a decent bit of ecru head on top. Aromas of new oak, resiny hops, and oranges. Good flavors here, as the white oak really enhances the citrusy hops and light to moderate malt backbone. A little thin, but quite tasty, with a long, lingering bitter finish. Another RB secret stash beer that left me happy.
