Despite the name this is a Pale ale that pours an orangish red, not a gold. Light grapefruit aroma - smells nice and crisp. Grapefruit continues to the flavor as well - nice hoppy finish with citrus flavors throughout. Despite the misnomer this is a very tasty and enjoyable beer.

Very golden in color, with a really hoppy nose. Often has a very fruity taste with a faint lemony finish. Beautifully bitter with fresh citrus undertones when recently tapped. The Cascade hops shine through this beer. Extremely refreshing on warm days, and a very drinkable beer - too drinkable sometimes !! I used to drink this type of beer in England with Indian Curries, it goes really well with spicy, hot foods.
