On tap in Arlington, VA. Amber to copper in color, plenty of carbonation and creamy off-white head. An obvious sweet citrus hop aroma but that's about all going on. The flavor starts as a grapefruit rind bitterness with just a bit of caramel malt to balance. Strong citrus and tropical fruit follows quickly, leaving a sweet and citrusy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is creamy and pretty smooth. Overall the hop profile was interesting - more oriented to tropical fruit notes like mango instead of the standard grapefruit/orange flavor. Could have used more aroma hops as well as a bigger malt backbone.

On-tap at Rock Bottom in King of Prussia
Their current rotating IPA. Served to me with a finger of bone white head that laced well. Cloudy (unfiltered) and pale copper in color. Smell is heavy on the citrus. Taste is intensely grapefruit. Bitterness is not overbearing. Mouthfeel is viscous and has a mildly dry finish. Drinkability is high for a 7% hop bomb. Overall, a great american IPA. A must try for hopheads.
