Had this one on tap the other night at the 16th Street mall location in Downtown Denver. Whenever I'm walking around downtown (usually to grab a sandwich from Biker Jim), I try to pop into this location to see what kind of barrel aged treats are on offer. This was the only one last Friday.
According to the board, it was aged for 2 years in a 10 year old Wild Turkey barrels. Cloudy and dark brown, with a smallish white head. Huge bourbon, oak and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, this one was medium bodied, well carbonated, with lots of bourbon, oak, caramel, earth and vanilla. Very drinkable, I thought about ordering another.
