Sampled 10/5/2010 at Rock Bottom Lombard. This is their imperial stout aged in Woodford Reserve barrels for 8 months.
Pours black, low head, retention, and retention.
Aroma is kind of light fluidish but with bourbon, roast, and chocolate.
Flavor is of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, and burning.
Body is about right (as in medium) but just too boozy to drink much of.
Tick.
