2010 Black Bull Bourbon Barrel aged for 1 year
A- Dark brown with a slight head that left decent lacing
S- Great bourbon forward followed by nice roasted chocolate malt and a warming alcohol sweetness
T- sweet chocolate, plum, and sweet bourbon alcohol sweetness
M- the very slightest bit thin, but the carbonation is perfect and makes it silky smooth
D- The alcohol warmth is spot on for the style, so it's nice to sit and sip and enjoy a few
The original version of this this, before barrel aging, was the first beer that I had at Rock Bottom LB. This has capped off an amazing year of beers made by Hayley. If this was bottled, I would snatch up a case to age and enjoy whenever I wanted
