On-tap at Rock Bottom Long Beach
This is a lower gravity version of their Double IPA.
A: The pour is a pale golden straw color with a white head and some spotty lacing.
S: A really nice hoppiness to the nose. Plenty of citrus, especially grapefruit and grapefruit peel. Some pine, for certain, and a touch of grass. There's just a touch of pale, cracker malts in the background.
T: The very light malt base and aggressive hopping provides a substantial bitterness to the beer. Nice and citrusy with plenty of grapefruit and lemon peel. Pine and grass are also present with just a little bit of malt.
M: Light to medium in body with a moderate carbonation.
O: Probably my favorite beer of the night. Solid flavor and pleasant to drink.
