The brew is a nice reddish-brown with a thick finger of white creamy foam. The aroma is a bit hoppy with some citrus and a bit of pine. The taste is different. It's a nice balance of hop and malt while the spruce tips add a slight earthiness that creates a very nice balance. It starts out slightly tart then slightly mellows out and leaves a sweet aftertaste. I'd have another one.
