Pours a murky hazy brownish color with a half finger head which stays around and gives way to a minimal amount of lacing. The aroma is weak and tough to get to. There is a caramel malt backbone with some earthy hop presence. The taste has a nice caramel and roasted malt backbone with a small earthy and wet hop presence at the end. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. This is an decent beer, the flavor is true to the style and you could easily have a couple.

A very recent special release from Rock Bottom - couldn't believe my luck when I looked at the board of current beers and saw a dry hopped pale had just been put on tap. I was not let down.
Standard pale ale look, with a nice fluffy white head that stuck around and left lots of lacing.
Smelled of tasty, fresh hops.
Taste was great. Nice mix of fresh citrusy and piny hops backed up by a tasty malt base. Everything balanced well, but the beer showcased the hops quite nicely.
Mouthfeel was good. Not too heavy, but with just the right amount of malt to keep you satisfied. Nice carbonation level too.
Drinkability is extremely high on this one. I was only going to have one pint with lunch - but that quickly changed to two.
Highly recommended.

This is one of those things I love about Rock Bottom - they almost always have two cask-conditioned beers available. Beautiful amber brew with a fluffy white head. Incredible aroma of citrus hops, as I'd expect considering they really push the fact that it's dry-hopped. Smell has hints of caramel malt as well, but they're hard to find. Oily hop flavor is not nearly as strong as the smell indicates. It's bitter and citrusy, but very well balanced by the caramel malt. Smooth mouthfeel, but body is a bit thin.
