Had this on cask and it was fantastic.
Poured a very dark brown with a deep tan head that was dense and robust.
Excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma was of rich complex malts, roasted and chocolate with a little coffee and vinilla.
Taste was rich malts chocolate and coffee even picked up burnt malts very rich.
This was on casked so it was smooth and mellow, similar to Guiness.
It was casked so it did have a slightly flat aspect to it.
Definitely a good beer and worth for a repeat visit, perhaps during brewpub season.
I wasn't expecting it to be so cold though.
