Referred to by the brewer as a Danish Yuel Ale, so if a different style is more suiting, please suggest it.
Pours a cloudy, tanish-red with low carbonation. The aroma is light, with some pine and perhaps a touch of pear. The taste came as a bit of a shock. The junipers blitz up front with rich malts providing air cover, then cinnamon and pine perform a pincer movement, all attacking your taste buds at once, almost creating gustation overload but allowing your tongue to surrender with pride, suffering only a pleasant acidic twang. The body has good thickness.
The brewer said it's comparable to Arrogant Bastard and I would agree.
