Light gold body. Overpoured. Just a lick of foam. 3.0
German hops and salted peanuts in the nose. Pale malts with thatbase mild lemony hop vibe. A refreshing combo. 4.0
A little lemony, a little spicy (coriander?), light grain malts, and some afterthought hop bitterness. Some finishing pucker. A summer quencher, flavor-wise. 3.5
Crisp and light-medium bodied, like a good pilsner. Well-carbonated ale. 4.0
Nice collaboration brew from PGH CBW. 4.0

This beer is a collaboration between Rock Bottom, Penn Brewing, and Hofbrau, brewed for the 2012 Pittburgh Craft Beer Week.
A pretty traditional kolsch here, which is not really my thing, hence the lower rating I'm giving. Light, pale yellow pour, slightly hazy, with a fizzy white head that almost dissipated completely. Cheerful, bubbly carbonation. Subdued aroma, grains, bitter hops, lagerish basically. Taste reflects the nose, grains, slightly toasty, nice fresh hops, light fruit notes, cardboard, with a kind of stale bittering finish, which I basically get in most beers of the style. Light body, pretty easy-drinking for sure, but lacking in flavor, and just not my style.
