new at the westminster location. not sure id call it a session ipa in the traditional sense at 6.5% abv, but the mouthfeel is incredibly light, hardly any body at all to it, and for that reason maybe it is a session beer, but i correlate it with alcohol, not heaviness. in any event, it pours a nice clear yellow to orange color, tough to really tell with the dim lighting in there. decent but fading white head. the nose is fruity, like citrus rind, navel orange, grapefruit, and lemon. some sweetness too, and a very light malt profile. flavor is basically hops without malt, i get all the same fruits, and literally no malt base. its not light wheat or crystal, it just is absent, which i guess they were going for. i dont mind though, as the beer has a very drinkable body, jovial carbonation, and a zippy bitter hop finish. overall a pretty good beer with the heavier food like the mac and cheese, and one i might get next time through. seasonally off, but tasty nonetheless.
