Served on tap at the Boston location. Thick and creamy stout style head, the liquid is opaque as expected. From the looks of it this beer is on nitro.
Sweet aroma of malt and oats, suggestions of vanilla and sweet coffee in the nose.
Sublime smoothness, so damn creamy it has to be on nitro. Full bodied. Smoky vanilla, charred wood and a bitter burnt bite flows great to counter the sweetness of the malt and oats. Light on the hops. Hidden berry fruitiness, finishes sweet with a coffeeish after taste.
A beautiful stout to be had as the oats have added some much depth to the brew.
