Served in a pint glass at the Boston location, damn they served it ice cold! Waited a while for the beer to warm up. Bold chestnut brown colour, tight and tiny bubbled lace.
Smells of toasted bread, not much else as the aroma is very clean.
Straight on crispness in a moderate body, large toasted malt flavours and clean and long lasting. Some subtle hopping with a good balance with the malt. Malted wheat twang middle to end with a faint ale fruitiness.
A simple ale but that is what a mild is supposed to be. Easy drinking no doubt.
