Had on tap at Rock Bottom Lombard, served in a Mug.
A: Pours a solid amber color with a white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thick cap that leaves some sticky sheets of lace behind.
S: A lot of grassy and floral notes with a bit oat malt presence. Simple and nicely balanced.
T: The taste is a little more complex. Bitter and floral hop notes with a dash of fruit melon as well. The malt base is sweet with some pale oats on the finish as well.
M: Super easy drinking. Light to medium body with a medium carbonation level. Sweet finish.
O: A nice oatmeal pale ale. I could definitely put back a few of these on a summer day. Nice balanced between the oat sweetness and the floral, semi-bitter hop profile.
