Picked up a growler of this as I was passing through Waitsburg.
Pours a light orange, with a thick white head. Not translucent, a little cloudy. Aroma was definitely apricots, very fruity. Hints of malts and cereal grains, slight tones of alcohol. Taste was ripe apricots with some cereal grains mixed in. Aftertaste was tart, but not bad. Good texture, on the thick side but not chewy and creamy. For a fruity beer this was not bad, I would consider having one every now and then but as a session beer I would not.

Laht Neppur brews several versions of the hefeweizen style. Not a Laht, just several. (Ha, ha ha! Did you catch the clever wordplay in that last sentence? Ha, ha!)
Okay.
This hefe was brewed with fresh apricots grown locally in the Walla Walla area. The fruit adds a perfect hue of apricot color though only a modest thread of flavor that you may have to search for. Most of the beer conforms to a medium-robust standard hefe recipe with an accent on clove and peppercorn. The nose has a light air of clove and spring water. For a moment, I thought I caught a whiff of something rank, but it passed before I could fully catalogue it.
Light bodied with medium carbonation and a collared head. I loved the color but would have appreciated a show of suds.
