Poured from 22oz bomber into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: super dark brown with ruby highlights when held up to the light; the body is clear. Head is a thin layer of creamy tan foam atop. I think it looks pretty nice!
Smell: aroma is sweet with lots of toffee/caramel character; there's a little bit of nuttiness in there as well. I appreciate the character, but it is a little bit too sweet for my taste.
Taste: toffee, caramel, and bready malt flavors; like the aroma, it's rather sweet. There's kind of an astringent element toward the end as well. Not bad, but not exemplary.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a reasonably decent brown ale, if not a great one.

Deep, beautiful red with a thin film of espresso froth head. The aroma is nutty and sweet with hints of sherry or raspberry wine. Neddys shares a common theme with other house beers in the form of a very meek body with low attenuation. The flavor is customary but understated.
