I purchased a Growler a week or so, and the first few pints of the night were great. The second day, things mellowed out quite a bit and it lost that fresh popular taste. I finished it on the second night, knowing it would not last a third. Better in a growler on the first day, but would only want single pint glasses going forward if my wife and I couldn't conquer the growler on day one.

At the brewery.
Dark near black, opaque, some thin tan foam. Smells like grass, sharp and catty hops, some coffee grounds. Taste is bitter, has a little lactic character, a bit of burnt coffee, some bits of ash. Medium over thin bodied for the style, low carb and an off dry finish. With a need to pull up on the mash in temp to add body perhaps, this breaches the lower end of quality.
