Served on tap in a snifter
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a two finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading to leave a good some of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heaviest of a biscuit smell mixed with a decent showing of yeastiness and some grass. Along with these aromas comes some sweeter fruit smells of pear, peach and apple rounding out the aroma rather nicely.
Taste- The taste begins with a crisp crackery taste that has a nice level of yeastiness and a little bit of the lighter fruit sweetness upfront. As the taste advances the cracker converts to a slightly more doughy taste all while some grassy and herbal tastes come to the tongue. Toward the end the doughy seems to dry out a bit more, but other flavors of clove and coriander come to the tongue, leaving one with a moderately crisp and decently danker hoped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – the body of the brew was crisp and light with a carbonation level that was rather average. For the style the feel was fantastic and made for one refreshing and flavorful brew overall.
Overall – I quite liked this brew. It has a great flavor and is very refreshing all while maintaining a light and sessionable abv. Quite nice!!
