From the back label: "BEST CONSUMED BEFORE 07/25/18 10:14"
Appearance: This beer has loads of carbonation feeding a large slightly off-white rocky head. It has a very transparent dark brass colored body. The head retention on the beer is fantastic and it leaves nice foamy lines on the glass.
Aroma: There is a soft caramel aroma along with a light bit of collared greens.
Taste: It has a lightly toasted caramel flavor with a bread-like quality that tapers off in the middle. It has a bit of a black tea flavor at the back-end.
Mouthfeel: The body feels right on the lower border of medium. It has a bit of texture to it and it finishes a bit sweet. It also has a light bitterness at the end to cut into the sweetness.
Overall: It feels like the kind of beer that might divide people a bit. On one side it does have a decent bit of caramel flavor which might appeal to some and to others it might feel too sweet. It also feels like it has a bit more body than one might expect but to others that might give a stronger base for that sweetness to stand on. While it has quite a lot of flavor it doesn't feel like the cleanest beer.
