visited on an afternoon in winter. The color and aroma were spot on, and the malt was balanced nicely by a more subtle than usual yeast. The mouthfeel was very pleasant and was nice to have as a lager. I have been to Germany in summer and had many beers of this same style. They nailed it! Das Bierhaus knows its weissbiers!!

Dunkels pours a clear dark brown color, with a large tan head. The smell is a bit weak, but on the malteir side. The taste started of sweet and malty and heavy, but finishes a bit more bitter, and on the lighter side. Easy to drink, very good amount of carbonation. Overall I found this very enjoyable, like all the other beers from Das Bierhaus.

A: Deep dark brown color with a huge light tan head. Nice lacing and retention.

S: Dark roasted malts, the beer had a bit of a smokey and chocolatey smell to it.

T: The beer was really malty and flavorful. Sweeter chocolate and coffee tones were accented by the smoke and the hops.

M: Nice smooth drinker, good carbonation and body.

D: Yummy yummy :)

A- Pours a very slight hazy dark brown color with a tan head that dissipates rather quickly.

S- Chocolate, nuttiness, maple nut, very malty and creamy.

T- Chocolate, nut goody, definite maple nut and nuttiness. The finish is smooth and malty with hints of caramel.

M- Smooth, smooth, smooth.

D- Perhaps a tiny bit heavy but I don't think it's designed to be a session beer. Overall, very solid.
