Altbier poured a dark color, with a smaller creamy tan head. The smell was almost sweet, very malty. The taste contained a strong malty flavor, very rich, and had just a bit of the bitterness come through at the end. Easy to drink; could easily go back for another. Overall I found this beer very enjoyable.

A- Pours a cloudy brown amber body with a 1 finger white head. Decent retention and decent lacing.
S- Very tight nose here. Some faint dry dark malts, fresh flour, a touch of dark fruit.
T- Starts out with a nice dry biscuit, hints of chocolate, bits of cream, fresh flour, suggestions of dark fruit. The finish is on the dry side with a nice lager-esque feel.
M- Low carbonation, nice dry feel on the finish
D- Pretty sessionable beer and so far, the best beer I've had to date at the DBH.
