This is a solid, hearty beer. It's 8.2%, very malty and thick, just like a bock should be. It's the new version of the old Butthead Doppelbock that has a ton of ratings on this site, as the brewery tweaked the name and package design without changing the beer itself. If you like hefty beers that don't knock you on your butt (pun intended), give this a try. It's one of their better beers for sure.

12 oz. Bottle
Pours a nice dark brown color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice one-finger thick/creamy off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, toffee. The taste is malty, yeasty, with some toffee. Medium body. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Sampled yesterday on 11/29/15 while watching football. Comes in a 12 ounce bottle. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees and poured in to a "Bud Light Omaha" pint glass. On front of label "8.2% ALC/VOL- IBU 33". Best Buy: "Sept 07 15".
Brew pours a reddish-mahogany in color with a good 1-finger creamy beige head. A decent amount of lacing is seen when sipped that stuck to the sides of the glass when sipped. Aroma is of sweet grains and yeast like a doppelbock. Pretty much can be said for the taste as well with a hint of caramel malts and even some toffee. I tried several bocks before but this one would be considered a doppelbock in my opinion. It's a sipping kind of brew with the higher alcohol content. Medium+-full bodied with perfect carbonation for this style of brew. Overall it was decent.
