-Cream ale aged on peachwood shavings.
A: Extremely pale lemon peel coloring, shows a slight haziness. Looks like lemonade. A hugely building bright white foam head, several fingers high, leaves a spectacle amount of splatter on the vessel for lacing.
S: Sweet peach juice, cream ale yeastiness, with a small touch of apple juice. Fresh wet and of moderate strength. Some faint dry straw and dry barnwood.
T: Funky peaches, freshly cut wood hints from the shavings. Crisp, fruity hops, earthy berries, and fresh wet apples. Has a bit of citrus fruit hops that lingers on the swallow, kiwi-strawberry, and passion fruit.
M: Light bodied, soft feel, very smooth feel and low carbonation.
O: An adequately hopped cream ale that brings a bit of fruity hops to spice up the style. Similar to a session ipa, light and fruity, good drinkability in the hot summer months at 4.5% makes for a flavorful lawnmower beer. Nice to see a nice twist and spin on an otherwise lesser produced style with good results. The peachwood shavings contribute nicely to the flavor.

There is a best by date on the can. I don't like the taste that the peachwood gives it, the beer has an old & musty type of taste. Cheers! C

LOOK: Pours out of a can with a 2 finger head and a crisp / very clear light pale yellow. This is lighter than most pilsners. Head dissipates rapidly but a foam ring remains for some time.
SMELL: Sour fruit and slight vinegar. Some funk coming through and no real hops or malt.
TASTE: Some biscuit and slight sweetness at first, but quickly dries out - a bit too dry. Some slight tart fruit come through. There is some funk from the peach-wood I presume. Slight woodsiness.
FEEL: Very light bodied. Pretty thin - hoped for more mouthfeel.
OVERALL: A bit disappointed with this one. It is still a decent refreshing session beer, but I had hoped for more malt and more body. Some more carbonation would have been better as well. Still a good lawnmower beer though. I probably wouldn't buy again - there's a lot of beer out there.

Look: Very pale gold, watery looking with a white, soft foam head
Smell: Like a nice, expensive hand soap of peach, but also some graininess/bread
Taste: Not overly strong, soft peach flavors, definitely woody, as well as some light toast
Feel: Light but not crisp, smooth going down, mild-low carbonation
Overall: The smell is the real standout here, flavor is ok. Would be refreshing after a mountain hike

Pours straw cold and brilliantly clear. Foamy white head, 1/2" high. I know this beer has no actual peaches, but I'll be damned if it doesn't smell powerfully peachy. Peaches also come through in the taste, which has a subdued but pleasant biscuity malt backdrop. Finishes dry and refreshing. Surprisingly round and yes, creamy, mouthfeel. This is a wonderful 4.5% easy drinker that I intend to grab some more of for the summer.

really awesome beer, the best i have had from these guys in a long time, no doubt about it. this is a cream ale with peachwood, not actual peaches from what i understand, although it sure smells like it has real peaches in it. juicy and ripe and delicious aroma to it. it looks almost like a coors light or something in the glass, super pale yellow and without much head after a minute in the pint glass. it smells like fresh peaches all the way, but after the first second, doesnt taste too much like peaches, a slight sweetness running through a solid cream ale base that i suspect would be quite good in its own right. i really like the flavor, a nice mellowness to it, earthy fruity rather than sweet fruity, maybe thats the wood. i know these guys dont get a lot of credit most of the time, but this is a really incredible expression of this time of year in colorado, and they deserve some recognition for it. very highly drinkable, really unique and delicious too. i hope it makes it into a six pack, i would definitely pick one up. on tap at the green valley ranch beer garden out by the airport for now. cool use of peachwood as well, the first time i have ever seen it in a beer i think...

This was excellent, and one of Tommyknocker's best offerings. Aroma was peachtastic, very strong and fruity. Taste was not quite as strong as that, but a lot like a very smooth peach cream soda without all the syrup and carbonation. I'm not a big cream ale guy usually, but this was very enjoyable. Thumbs up for this one - I'd like to see this replace Tundrabeary, as it is a much better summer fruit ale. I'll definitely look for this one again.

This beer is a seasonal. I had it at the brewery. I love the prach smell and the light peach flavor. A winner!
