Had on tap at Tommyknockers in Idaho Springs today. Excellent, better than the bottle I had last year. All the taste of the chiles on the front without the heat on the back.

Had this on-tap at the brewery in Idaho Springs a couple months ago.
a: Clear gold body with a white head.
s: Light chile aroma. Unfortunately, this was served to me with a lime wedge in the glass, and though I immediately removed it, it did alter the aroma.
t: Light pale malt with a nice chile flavor. Not spicy at all, just a deep chile flavor. Tastes like they started with a light lager as a base and added sweet chilies or spicier peppers with all seeds removed.
m: Thin and smooth.
d: Not a bad chile beer. I prefer spicy chile beer, but this would be a good introduction to the style for the un-initiated.
