12oz can. Poured out a clear amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lace. It smelled of fire roasted chilies, caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a nice spiciness. Not overpowering.

Clear, golden body; dense, lively carbonation; thick, tightly-knit spongy head. Wonderful scent of green chili with a touch of fire-roasted sweetness. The taste is classic chili beer; not too intense; balanced with a fine malt backbone. Medium-heavy body; soft and velvety; sublime chili pepper warmth.
I've never been a big fan of Tommyknocker beers. It's been decades since I last had one. This chili beer could easily make me go back and try some their beers again. I love chili beers. This one is classic through and through. Balanced with just the right balance of chili pepper flavor and heat riding atop a beautiful malt base beer.
Pouring temperature: 47 °F; canning info: n/a
