This came out with a massive tight and fluffy head, which was khaki in color and lasts forever. The body is black, but has plenty of reddish hues when held up to light.
Aromas are barely detectable. I can only get a slight hint of coffee or burnt toast.
The taste is coffee, but not overly tart. There is a definite sweetness here.
This brew has creaminess and ends with a powdery dryness.
This brew is not as complex as its helles sister, and makes for a good session beer.
