Calapooia inherited this beer from Oregon Trail’s original lineup. It is very clear and pale in a bright piss yellow color (sorry, but that is the best descriptive). It has a punky, yeast-derived flavor and corresponding aroma, with English-style bittering. And it lives up to its name.

This is a light beer, but still an ale, so it has more body than most “lite” macros. Carbonation however, is lacking. You can watch individual bubbles rising one at a time through the beer, without which there would be no visible carbonation at all. Given a bit more vitality, Somethin’ Lite might not be a bad thirst quencher to a tag a lunch with. But the pint I had lacked vigor.
