Served in a shaker pint at Wyatt's in Albany, OR, Yankee Clipper IPA is a hazy, bright burnt golden orange, with a small, thick, eggshell head that is long lasting and leaves lots of super thick, foamy lace.

The aroma is strong and very piney and earthy, but there is some depth to it that I find unusual in NW IPAs, where it's a little musty. Intriguing for sure.

The taste is a real blast of hops, and again, while it initially seems like the familiar NW piney hops, it in fact is a unique taste, which is very cedar like, like a humidor. I love it! The finish is bitter and very dry. Wow, in my mind this one really stands out among the many hop juice IPAs out there. I only had one pint though, so time will tell if it was a fluke.

The mouthefeel was very creamy, with a medium body.

This was so tasty, once I worked out what I was tasting, the second half went down way to fast! Very fresh and tangy, if you like hop juice, this is the one. I don't get to drink this nearly as often as I'd like...
