Purchased this filled growler today after having my lunch.
Poured from the screw top growler approximately 12 hours after filled. Pours a slightly hazy brown with very little head to speak of. Smell is very fresh rye bread like, with slight citrusy aroma hop nose as well. Taste is much hoppier than the aroma would indicate, leaning towards the fruity floral kind of hops. Very mellow and balanced fresh hop flavor. Taste is lighter on the rye flavor, but it is noticeable. Mouthfeel is very nice! Smooth, moist finish, with just the slightest hint of aftertaste in the back of the throat. The abv of 6.7% puts this brew at the upper end of what i would consider sessionable. Very mild, balanced flavor make it a pleasure to drink. I'll have no problem finishing off this growler in the next 2 nights.
