Hop Crisis Extra Pale Ale

Calapooia brewed this recently, and it was named "Hop Crisis" simply because they used the only hops they could get thier hands on. Had a few pints of this recently with lunch, and went back today to pick up a growler for review.

Poured slightly hazy orange honey color, thick foamy slighlty off white head, lots of lacing, good retention. Aroma is very yeasty with lots of malt sweetness, good floral hops. the hallertau come thru nicely. Taste has nice light floral hop notes, just the right amount of bitterness. A decent amount of malty texture, a bit chewy, slightly sticky finish. This is a very good, fresh local brew. I will have no problem finishing this growler myself over today. I hope you get the chance to try this while it's still around!
