Tropical, citrusy, dank Strata hops are picked from Crosby Hop Farm in the Willamette Valley and lovingly brought back to Calapooia Brewing. Using liquid nitrogen we get the hops colder than your boss's heart and shatter them like your dreams of stability. Enjoy this dry hopped, fresh hopped PNW IPA!

Look: Light yellow with a huge, billowing head that forms a dense two finger pillow and retains well, ever-so-slightly receding in craters and leaving copious lacing behind
Aroma: Whoa. Raw, shredded citrus peel, freshly cut white grapefruit, Cannabis-like diesel terpenes, bitter orange, and some lemons
Taste: Kicks off with a tremendous citrus punch that brings to mind a freshly diced citrus fruit salad that is followed by some grassy notes. That transitions to a blend of diesel and fruit-forward Cannabis notes that are rejoined by citrus for the close
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and a light dryness on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. I’ve been really digging fresh hop Strata beers this year so when I heard and saw a local brewer had made one, I had to try it and support the endeavor. Great fresh hop character in this with loads of citrus and weed throughout and a really well-made beer as well. A nice start to the Friday evening
