Pours a slightly reddish color. 1 finger slightly off white head when poured from the can. Head retention is decent. Lots of carboantion rising in the glass.
The nose is slightly hoppy, and, mosaic hops it is. Slightly citrus, slightly tropical.
Taste - There's a bit of sweetness, but then the mosaic kicks in. Tropical. A bit of mango.
Bubbly feeling. The hops linger in my throat, and feel sticky.
A decent beer from Flat Earth, now St. Paul Brewing. Just hitting the spot tonight.

they had this one listed at 4.0% abv when i was there, suggesting some batch variability and perhaps improvements, as in my experience, this beer was better than its ratings here, and actually is one of the better beers i have had from flat earth in my time. it sure goes well with a game of mario cart on the projector! in any event, its a clear pale brew, simple in its composition but high in overall quality. its mosaic focused and had probably nothing more than pale two row barley in it, with the possible inclusion of a little pils type malt, its as basic as it gets, but a beer like this can hide no flaws, which means it must have none. high drinkability with a light body, none of the cat pee type mosaic weirdness, all real fresh and fruity, not a lot to it, but well made as they go for sure, and a marked improvement over other beers i have had from these guys, no doubt about it. good carbonation too, this one really zings, which is nice with the light body and relative dryness. some honey character to the grain, melon and citrus from the hops, a well made and forever sort of beer. a step forward for these guys...
