Mostly biscuit on the nose with some light earthiness and ripe fruit.
Brilliant deep amber under a 2” quickly dissipating head with a slight tan tint and a very fine bead.
Palate: rich malt with some caramel, biscuit and grainy malt flavors over a hint of dried fruit and a suggestion of pineapple.
Medium body and medium high carbonation.

Poured into a Sniffer Glass

Appearance - Dark Yellow/Golden color with significant cloudy unfiltered haze. Head is around a half finger in width which disappears rather quickly, leaving behind a white film. The lacing is a bit sparse here.

Smell - Cloves, Bubblegum, Caramel, Piney Hops, Yeasts, Rye and Malts. Complex aroma yet not overpowering, but rich in it's own right and I like the Rye aspect of the smell. There's also a "Barleywine" like characteristic to the smell, the sweet and hoppy aroma that usually is common in Barleywine style ales.

Taste - Bananas, Cloves, Caramel, Barley, Rye, Yeasts, and Floral Hops. It's like drinking a Hefeweizen mixed with a Belgian Pale Ale, which works out very well. To top it off, there's no boozy flavor here either!

Mouthfeel - Body comes off a feeling light and a little too watery for this style of ale. There is some mild carbonation here, but it helps with adding some kick to the flavor which is a plus!

Overall - I throughly enjoyed this. I missed breweries like Flat Earth while I was away in Chicago and beers like this make me really appreciate small Minnesota breweries like Flat Earth. The body is a little off but the flavor is so damned good that it's very easy to overlook. If you're ever in the Twin Cities area, it's worth your time and money to pick this up.
