On tap at the brewery, served in a shaker pint glass:
Appearance: Clear brown, slight line of bubbles around the rim.
Smell: Light sweet smoke.
Taste: Sweet and smoky, honeyed ham. Low carbonation, light feel for 5.8%.
Overall: I don't usually review at the brewery/taproom, but I didn't have a way to haul a crowler back home on my bike. Since I love smoked beers I had to try this one from St. Paul. Pretty good flavor and feel, good smokiness without being too smoky, pretty well balanced but somewhat sweet. Worth a try.
