My second bier of the day at the Regensburger Weißbräuhaus, a 0.5l glass (2.90EU) to wash down my Würst.
Has a rich golden color, with a touch of orange. Slightly cloudy, with a topping of creamy, white bubbles, resting at about 1/4". Lacing is solid as well. Aroma has pleasant banana and light clove; crisp though a bit mild. Medium bodied, this Hefe has some bubbling action on the tongue, though solid overall.
Wheaty and dry, lots of banana jumps out at you and coats the tongue. Light sweetness accompanies the banana, with clove making a background cameo. The esters linger nicely. An easy quaffing bier.
