Copenhagen 13/11 2021. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Simple white label with a horizontal black stripe. My first Christmas beer in 2021.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a malty sweet odor with hints of citrus fruits. Caramel, toffee, bread. Light whiff of cinnamon. Orange and lemon.
Light carbonation Slightly thick, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit sour with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Pretty easy on the Christmas spices. But overall decent.
