Bottle. Clear straw. Medium frothy head.
Mainly lemon and orange pith with some hints of spice when smelt.
A much weaker version of the aroma when tasted. A malt biscuit backbone discerned. Bitter completion.
Light carbonation. Thin.
Better on a second tasting.

L- Deep golden, pours clear with a 3mm white head. [ps. 15mins later - holds really well].
S- Smells quite bright, but hard to discern more yet.
T- Hoppy dry, right into a spice note plus a citrus twist. Overall it's pretty dry.
F- As you'd expect of a contemporary 'Pale' [Ale? I take it]. Hops led, plus a fruit note. The hops are prominent enough to leave a brush of zing across the palate. Carbonation in the glass and mouth are very good.
O- For a beer of a contemporary style it's done with some subtlety, which adds to the whole. People who seek drama might be left wanting. If you enjoy contemporary Pale's then this should be a nice one for Xmas.
500ml bottle BB: 20/11/21 Bought from TremblingMadness/York for home delivery to London.
