A - Clear golden amber color with a good sized white creamy head that leaves a fair amount of lacing.
S - A bit of apple along with some grain and pale malt smell. Good amount of earthy hop smell.
T - Pale malt and some grain make up the base. A fair amount of apple and some other golden fruit on top of that. These provide just a bit of tartness. Good amount of earthy and floral hops. General overall bitterness is present, but balanced.
M - Medium to light body. Quite smooth and just a touch watery.
D - Easy to drink beer. Nice ordinary session type beer. Bitter taste is present but doesn't overpower or kill the palate.
Notes: Very nice and drinkable beer. Nothing special, but a good session beer. Much more taste than the ABV suggests. Also the owner of the pub where I got this was telling me that it was one of the last casks of this beer. They seem to still bottle it though.
