Presentation: On tap in a pint sized tumbler.
Appearance: Tarnished copper colour with a powdery white lace.
Smell: Quite aromatic with a semi coarse, almost rustic, oily hoppy aroma.
Taste: Quite hoppy to begin with, slick oily mouth feel plays over the medium body. Bitterness and hop flavour linger from start to finish. Pungent at times but also fruity with citric overtones. A touch of caramel sweetness, toasted grain and husk are noticeable. Reletively dry in the end with both grain and hop cleaning up.
Notes: Wow! Hopolicious, very much what I want in an American IPA. Lost of hops yet still balanced.
