Presentation: On tap.
Appearance: Deep, dark brown, nearly black and opaque with a foamy tan head.
Smell: Hints of molasses, dark malts and fruit. Distinct warmed milk aroma in the nose. Sweet honey in the finish.
Taste: More molasses notes, some coffee, honey, sweet ripe fruits and roasted malts. Medium bodied and smooth. A hop bitterness breaks through, adding a mild twang in the middle and is aided by a lactic flavour.
Notes: Big flavoured and intricate. Perhaps one of the best Milk Stouts tasted to date. 5%abv. 15 IBU's
