Bottle. Pours orange tinged depp red, with decent head.
Definate toffee apple aroma, Taste loses the apple, but a bit of light caramel remains. Light bitterness, not overly sweet though there is some
More of a Munich Dunkel rather than a vienna lager
Good beer, probably one of the better ones from this brewery

Pint at West on the Green (£4.90):
Quite a pleasant & easy-going beer without it doing too much to excite or surprise, it was pleasantly bitter with a nice sweetness at points thanks to the caramel & toffee but it did seem a little one-dimensional at times too. It was easy to drink with a earthy, nutty feel throughout & it's one I'll continue going back to but there are certainly beer Vienna lagers out there too.

Dark red with a nice clear appearance in colour with a slightly tanned head this beer has been best described to be an Amber Ale. Very malty with a biscuit and sweet flavour both in smell and taste. Quite a coarse texture with medium carbonation. Does have a more darker taste and somewhat bitterness to match the sweetness.

Not absolutely certain on the style here: they describe it as a ruby red lager. The colour is a deep red, reminding me of grape juice, with the head dissipating to the rim. The nose is very plummy with a hint of toffee. Tastes plummy with additional maltiness and incredibly fresh with a slight hint of tobacco. Excellent stuff.
