On tap at the Brew Moon located in the Ward Center.
Poured a dark brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, and lighter nuts. Tastes of chocolate, roasty, and also some nuttiness.
Notes from and tasted on: 11/11/07.

Very close to pitch black in color, with a foamy mocha head. The head disappeared rather quickly, but did leave a nice patchwork of lace.
Milk and dark chocolate aroma. Very clean, as there is not much else.
Chocolate and roasty flavors dominate the palate. Very smooth, and clean. Suggestions of noble hops to keep the sweetness in check.
Light body, maybe just a bit thin. So smooth and low in alcohol. Maybe not a session beer, but enjoyable.

Poured very black with a nice creamy brown head. Very nice to look at. Had some aroma of coffee and dark chocolate.
Taste was of bitter chocolate malts and some coffeee. Quite nice, though maybe a little too light. It is nice and creamy with a mild presentation.
The mouthfeel was lighter than anticipated. Overall, I will be having this again. Perhaps not a session beer, but a good beer for a nightcap and to relax by. Defnitely recommended. Perhaps my favorite of the beers I have had at Brew Moon [so far].
