Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and good lacing. Aroma of ginger is dominating as well as some light cereal notes. Taste is mostly dominated by ginger but is also well enough balance with a nice grain bill with clean cereal notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Refreshing, well brewed and importantly it is also well balanced.

The color of the beer is pale yellow, slightly veiled with a nice head that looks like soap foam. The beer is very nice looking and shows a lot of carbonation. The aroma is medium intense. Get some notes of fruits and ginger. On the taste, it is slightly sugary (fruit sugar type) and some ginger notes. At least it is not overwhelming. Very refreshing! A summer beer for sure.

I good beer to drink during the summer.

This beer was brewed for Sushi Taxi, a chain of sushi restaurants in the Mauricie region.

Poured from a 341ml. bottle.

Appearance: Looks like lemonade when i pour but ends up being an extremely hazy gold body that you can't see through, very thick. A 2-3 finger head forms that kind of clings to the glass.

Smell: Ginger but not too strong with a whiff of citrus. Smell is odd a little bit. I'm undecided if i like it or not but i'm leaning towards yes which is why i rated it the way i did.

Taste: Ginger upfront but taste doesn't last long and segues into a very clean finish. As it warms, lemon and banana comes through as well as some herbs that i can't place and a slight yeasty feel. The ginger becomes more alive as it warms but it never becomes overwhelming but rather plays a discrete role.

Mouthfeel: Sprightly, alive and smooth with a decent carbonation. It has a palate cleansing aftertaste, kind of like ginger actually. I kind of feel like my mouth was washed.

Drinkability: At first, the subdued taste wasn't winning me over but i couldn't seem to stop drinking it and i ended up finishing my glass pretty fast. Maybe it was the heat that made me thirsty but it definitely wasn't a chore to drink.

Overall: A well done brew with no apparent flaws. I wasn't won over at first but this beer grew on me. Very refreshing and the ginger is never overpowering but is more in the background. I would try this again for sure and is certainly a perfect match for a hot summer day.
