Presentation: 12 oz brown bottle, on the side is a blurb about the beer and how it is not filtered or pasturized. No freshness date to be found.

Appearance: Nearly pitch black with a creamy tan lace.

Smell: Hints of malt sweetness hide under a mild roasted malt nose.

Taste: Sliky smooth with a moderate carbonation, then a acidic twang from the roasted malt take over giving a porter like flavour. Some maltiness from the munich malt makes it way and a touch of hops also. Yet the roasted flavour lingers for a long time leaving that acidic twang.

Notes: Baltic Style Porter? Hard to see this as a bock ... too much of a twang from the roasted malts. A decent brew if you like porters or very dark lagers ... this is like a big ass Schwarzbier.
