500 ml bottle, batch 589, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Cloudy pale golden colour, large white head. Intense aroma of Citra hops, citrus and tropical fruits galore, some catty hints too. Very hoppy flavour on a slightly sweet background, notes of grapefruit and resin, hints of tropical fruits, medium bitter finish. Maybe not perfectly balanced, but a decent beer all the same.

Poured from 0.5 L bottle into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a clear yellow hue with just a faint skim of white head.
S: Hmmm...kinda skunky smelling. Wonder how long they had this on the shelf in the Norwegian grocery store.
T: Definitely flat and skunky. Something went wrong here.
M: Light body. No hop bitterness.
D: Well, I’d like to try this one again when it isn’t an old beer.
To HaandBryggeriet, think about putting a best by or bottled on date on your beers!

Bottle. Golden, little hazy with huge, white, semi-densed head. Great head retention. Medium lacing. Light tropical fruits aroma (pinapple) and light to medium citrus aroma (orange, lemon). Pale ale malts also noticable. Light bitterness Light body, thin texture, semi-dry, lively carbonation. Finish is short, dry and light bitter. Very drinkable and refreshing, good session beer.

On-tap. Stange glass @ Freiburg (Barcelona). Pale straw color, veiled appearance. White froth, close & lasting crown. Lacing rings are left. Amazing & inviting aroma profile displays mint, resin, tropical fruit & herbal aromas. Gentle malty upfront. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Intense grapefruit & pineapple flavors in the middle. Dry bitter finish. Long fruity & herbal aftertaste. Delicious & refreshing!!
