Bottled
Dark brown body with thick off white head
Smells like a good port
You have that rich boozy red fruit in the flavour too with some liquorice and tobacco
It's easy drinking rather than thin
Good stuff
This is viking ale

500 ml bottle, batch #666, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.5%. Cloudy brown colour, moderate to low beige head. Malty aroma, notes of caramel, molasses and dark dried fruits. Warming mouthfeel. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, also brown sugar. Tastes like a cross between a Belgian Dubbel or Quadrupel and an English barleywine, Moderate hops in the finish. A very enjoyable beer.

50cl bottle. Pours a muddy ruby-brown with a sticky head. Heavy smell of maple syrup, caramel and red grapes. Sweet notes of bourbon. Tastes of caramel and maple syrup, dark cherries, red grapes and hop bitterness.
