On tap. Poured an opaque, jet black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Tasted fairly sweet with chocolate and toffee notes. A hint of coffee, too.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Black colour, large to moderate tan head. Roasty and malty aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee and dark rye bread, hints of leather. The flavour is roasty but still smooth, medium sweet, notes of strong coffee, liquorice and dark bitter chocolate, hints of smoke and ashes in the finish. Bitter hops in the aftertaste. Good stuff.
